Relatively understated and modest in the front, while outlandishly eccentric in the rear – this design mirrors how some may approach life.

Lang Zhao’s supreme talent as a progressive metal drummer was the inspiration for the cylindrical form of the bedroom. Rhythm permeates the space through the pattern of beams and rafters, interrupted only by the intersecting cube that streams in light to the desk below. Another large skylight above the bed keeps the night sky ever-present.
