About

I’ve been an architect for just over 30 years, working with several notable firms that specialize in hospitality design. Many of these years were spent accruing the technical skills needed to bring large projects to completion: mastering computer software (primarily autocad and Revit) used in both production drawings and design efforts, and gaining extensive knowledge of building sciences, materials, and codes. But in more recent years, my focus was more often on bringing a cohesive, overall vision to the exterior of large luxury hospitality and condominium projects, including the Montage at Big Sky and Phase 2 of the Yellowstone Club.

Ultimately, however, I found the corporate approach to architecture limiting. It is not the place where architectural risk-taking thrives. My pursuit now is aimed at discovering architecture that satisfies my own thirst for something that is both new and meaningful. I hope at some point to cross paths with someone who sees in this work a possibility of their own, and has the resources, the adventurous spirit, to work together to bring it to realization. Architecture on paper is fun, but building it is even better.
